You may be eligible to receive a visa first preference, based on a job, if you are a foreigner with a skill so extraordinary, it is an outstanding professor or researcher, or an executive or manager of a multinational company.
Immigration Based on Employment EB 2
You may be eligible to receive a visa of second preference based on a job if it is a professional and has a post-graduate degree or its equivalent, or is a foreigner who has an exceptional aptitude.
Immigration Based on Employment EB-3
It may be that you comply with the requirements for this category of preference immigrant visa if you are a skilled worker, a professional, or other type of worker.
- The “skilled workers” are persons whose job requires a minimum of two years of training or work experience, not of a temporary nature or eventually.
- “Professionals” are persons whose job requires at least a bachelor's degree (baccalaureate) of the US or its equivalent in foreign countries, and is a professional.
- The subcategory “other workers” is for those people who perform a labor that requires less than two years of training or experience, not of a temporary nature or eventually.
